Dr. Jim Catt

Dr. Jim Catt was born and raised in Havre, Montana. Jim attended Montana State for one year before transferring to Oregon State University and earning his Bachelor of Science. In 1997, Jim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oregon Health and Sciences University with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Catt was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honor society based on academic achievements and scholastic ability.
Upon graduating, Jim associated and was mentored by James Johnson for a period of four years. Dr. Johnson’s practice was a very active 25 year old practice, which was based on comprehensive care and patient centered philosophies. Jim purchased the practice in 2001.
Since purchasing the practice, Jim has continued delivering health centered comprehensive restorative dentistry through the utilization of Bioesthetic Principles. In 2002, Jim and his staff completed the Growth Into Greatness curriculum.
Jim works to serve the dental community as an active volunteer and member of the Oregon Dental Association. Jim has served as an Oregon Dental Association Trustee since 1998 and has served on many Boards and Committees. In addition, he is actively serving his dental community by facilitating dental health in children through dental health awareness in Medford schools and volunteering at Jackson County Children’s Dental Clinic.
Dr. Catt enjoys outdoor activities, music, and travel. He pursues these interests with his wife, Dr. Danna Catt, a local veterinarian, and their two children.
